The Legend
The Pride slowly gathered around the fire that was centered in the Gathering Circle. As your paws walked along the sand you could feel the crisp air brush through your fur. You nod in recognition to the memory stones you pass of those that have been long gone and find your place around the dancing fire. Kawai, Daughter of the Ancient Mother and her Water Keepers helped with the preparation of the telling of the Legend of Poli'Ahu.
Kawai waved her paws over the fire and an image appeared with in the brilliant flames of the young Demi Goddess. A hush falls over the pride. " Come Children of The Ancient Parents as I paint the tale of Poli'Ahu, the Demi Goddess of Snow and Mist. And the trails in which she faced."
The rattling of pebbles in coco nut shells added an ambiance as you leaned into the fire watching the image of Poli'Ahu as she blinks, you could swear she was looking right at you. "Poli'Ahu had to face three great challenges to prove herself to our Ancient Mother." A Hush fell over the crowed but you where to mesmerized by the image of Poli"Ahu that she seem to be moving. At one point It looks as though she lunges out of the fire and right at you. You fall backwards and black out....
